Start with the item status

Confirm the item is published and Visibility active is checked.
Read its dashboard card: Active now, Scheduled, Expired, Invalid schedule, Conditional, or Plan limit tells you where to continue.
Save the item once after changing Format or license.

Campaign does not show

Schedule: check WordPress timezone, dates, times, and recurring weekdays. Selected weekdays replace date mode.
Rules: compare Where to show, Device, and Audience with the current page and session.
Plan: confirm the license supports the format and item allowance.
Shortcode-only: the item is not auto-inserted; [elempilot id="123"] must exist on the page.
Manual banner: always needs its shortcode, even when Where to show is Entire site.

Shortcode renders nothing

Test it on a simple page. Confirm the ID exists, the item is published, and every rule passes. When it contains an external shortcode, test that shortcode outside ElemPilot as well.

Countdown is wrong or frozen

An item countdown needs End date or recurring weekdays. Check Time to, timezone, and overnight windows. Recurrence without Time to uses 23:59. Gutenberg Countdown has its own controls and does not use another item Schedule.

Popup, Notice, or CTA does not float correctly

Confirm the theme includes wp_footer(), no global transformed/overflow container traps fixed elements, and cache is not serving markup from an older release.

Visual template differs from preview

Preview and live must load the same template and asset version. Clear cache, check text limits and image crop, and do not use global CSS as a fix because the iframe is intentionally isolated.

After updating

Clear page, object, and CDN cache.
Reload the editor without cache.
Save the item once.
Test in a private window as a logged-out visitor.
Inspect the console only after reproducing the issue.

Include the affected URL, WordPress and ElemPilot versions, Format, dashboard status, rules, a builder screenshot, and exact reproduction steps. Never send passwords by email.

Empieza por el estado del item

La campaña no aparece

Schedule: comprueba zona horaria de WordPress, fecha, hora y días recurrentes. Días seleccionados sustituyen las fechas.
Rules: valida Where to show, Device y Audience con la página y sesión actuales.
Plan: confirma que la licencia permite ese formato y cantidad de items.
Shortcode-only: el item no aparece automáticamente; debe existir [elempilot id="123"] en la página.
Manual banner: siempre necesita shortcode aunque Where to show diga Entire site.

El shortcode no muestra nada

Prueba primero el shortcode en una página sencilla. Confirma que el ID existe, el item está publicado y sus reglas pasan. Si contiene un shortcode externo, prueba también ese shortcode fuera de ElemPilot para separar ambos problemas.

Countdown incorrecto o detenido

Un countdown de item necesita End date o días recurrentes. Revisa Time to, zona horaria y si la regla cruza medianoche. En recurrencia, Time to vacío usa 23:59. El bloque Gutenberg tiene controles propios y no usa el Schedule de otro item.

Popup, Notice o CTA no flota correctamente

Comprueba que el tema incluya wp_footer(), que no exista un contenedor global con transform/overflow que atrape elementos fijos y que el caché no conserve markup de una versión anterior.

Visual template o iframe distinto al preview

Preview y live deben cargar la misma versión del template y sus assets. Purga caché, revisa límites de texto e imagen y evita CSS global como solución: el iframe está aislado deliberadamente.

Después de actualizar

Purga caché de página, objeto y CDN.
Recarga el editor sin caché.
Guarda el item una vez.
Prueba en una ventana privada como visitante logged out.
Revisa la consola solo después de reproducir el fallo.

Incluye URL afectada, WordPress y ElemPilot versions, Format, estado del dashboard, reglas, captura del builder y pasos exactos para reproducirlo. Nunca envíes contraseñas por correo.
